“Friendship Is The Gift” is a fun and heartwarming music video by American Girl that celebrates friendship and the special bonds we share with others. It features the American Girl characters singing and dancing, highlighting how important it is to support and be there for your friends. The video has a bright, upbeat vibe, with a catchy song that spreads positive messages about kindness, connection, and the joy of friendship. It’s perfect for young viewers, reminding them how awesome it is to have good friends by your side.

The lighting style was bright, vibrant, and warm to match the upbeat and positive tone of the project. The goal was to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere that complemented the song’s themes of friendship and connection.
Technically, my tasks involved setting up dynamic lighting rigs to highlight the characters and environments while maintaining a playful, lively feel. I used key light setups to focus attention on the characters while using fill lights to soften shadows and keep the visuals feeling open and inviting. Color temperature was carefully adjusted to ensure a warm, cohesive look across the scenes.
