Project Overview
As someone who is passionate about hair grooming and always seeking to improve my abilities, I have embarked on a new project focused on practicing the art of woman’s hair styling. To guide my efforts and help me achieve my goals, I have chosen a stunning shot from the movie “The Queen’s Gambit” as a source of inspiration and reference. By studying this image and analyzing its key elements, such as the model’s hair texture, length, and style, I aim to develop my skills in creating beautiful and customized looks that reflect each client’s unique features and preferences. Through this project, I hope to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field of hair grooming, and ultimately provide my clients with outstanding service and results.

Lighting
To capture that perfect Halloween vibe, the lighting usually has a low-key setup, with bright orange tones popping against a dark, cool blue background. This color combination helps bring out that horror movie!
In ghost-themed comedies or movies, a key lighting technique is mimicking the effect of a torch lit from beneath the chin, which is a classic style used to enhance the eerie and comedic effect. This underlighting is iconic in Thai ghost storytelling, adding a dramatic yet humorous touch to the visuals.
Conclusion
I gained a lot of valuable lighting experience from this project. In my opinion, maintaining continuity in the lighting is the most important aspect. For this project in 2016, I used Renderman RIS, which was fairly new at the time and had limited documentation.
